For those who have wished, "I REALLY WISH I COULD MAKE THAT"
Kim and her assistant give introductory classes for either watercolor OR Acrylic Pour paintings. Her classes teach many skills that the master artists use. Choose between one doing 1 or 2 projects (each project takes about 1-hour). Classes can be as small as 10 participants or as large as 30.
Many hosts will have snacks and drinks before the project. A little wine loosens up the creativity. After the class, you can socialize while we clean up and package the projects to send home. To cover costs of travel, time and materials, cost per
participant is $14 for one class or $20 for two classes. If a minimum of
10 participants is met, the host would be free. Parties are held in
Monroe, Wayne, and Ontario Counties in New York State Finger Lakes
Region. We could negotiate travel costs for larger distances.
Watercolor Painting Party
WATERCOLOR classes were just the beginning. We've provided over a dozen Watercolor classes; each one was a success. Participants learn that they can take a basic design and style it to their own talents. Each easy design is planned to focus on new skills.
Examples below teach such skills as: design, mixing color, value (shading), contrast, wax resist, blending, lifting paint, using ink, dry- to very wet painting (flooding).
Watercolor is very versatile and expressive. Why not give it a try? We provide the materials.
Fluid Art Painting Party
ACRYLIC POURS are fun for people of all ages and talent levels. No need to even draw a straight line. All you need to do is layer your colors in a cup, then pour and tip.
Each result is a surprise, which makes the whole process SO MUCH FUN!!!!
Because there are many variations, there is no end to the learning. Here's a few: dirty pour, flip cup, string pull, dutch, dip, swipe, puddle pour, colander pour, (and the list grows...)
